On August 18, 2024, Kerry and Alex Kerr of Tony, Wisconsin not only suffered the tragic loss of their home due to a fire, but also the loss of their beloved niece, Lisa, who was trapped in a room on the 2nd floor and unable to be rescued in time.
Thanks to the support of local organizations, repairs to the home are now underway, but additional support for building materials and basic life resources are still needed.
Unable to work due to physical health limitations, this Family is met with the challenge of securing warm clothing, breaks to ensure the safety of their vehicles, and more. The Kerr family is currently living in a camper with their 4 dogs and limited heat resources.
Join us in our efforts to make a difference in the lives of fire victims. Whether you donate funds or spread awareness about our cause, every little bit helps. Together, we can create lasting change and improve the lives of those in need.
Our nonprofit organization is not only focused on addressing the physical aspect of recovery, but also on rebuilding hope, resilience, and stability in the lives of fire victims. We offer resources and programs that can help them heal, and really gain a sense of normalcy.
Through our work, we aim to empower fire victims to confidently embrace a brighter future. We are a support system in accessing short term housing solutions. By equipping them with the tools and support they need we believe that fire victims can rebuild their lives, and become active contributors to the communities once again.
The Fire Victims Foundation understands that housefires have a profound impact on individuals and families.
Our mission is to ease their burden by providing immediate support during their most vulnerable moments.
We strive to offer a comprehensive range of assistance, including temporary housing, clothing, furniture, and other essential household items.
Seeing a need for supporting individuals and families affected by fires and other unexpected calamities around the country, we formed an organization in 2009 to provide sensible solutions for victims of house fires.
Our members and volunteers provide the momentum that helps us affect change in real time.
We have consistently grown since 2009, all thanks to the helping hands of this amazing community!
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goal of providing a safe space and environment for victims in all US States. Your generous donation will continue to fund our mission.
